Session Description

Level-up your speechwriting skills during this interactive workshop! Here, participants will learn 10 effective ways to write a memorable, effective and captivating speech for yourself, your superintendent or other members of your executive team. Topics will range from research and mindmapping, to determining themes, to mastering timing and pacing, recall, and calls to action - we'll attempt to tackle it all! We will also look at some of the more overused phrases in K-12 speeches and statements, and come up with some useful alternatives that you can add to your arsenal and take home with you.
